Conference Past & Present

PAST PROCEEDINGS

One of the main objectives of the Canadian Conferences on Building Science and Technology is to share relevant building science knowledge and experience for those involved in the building industry both nationally and internationally.

These proceedings contain papers which were presented since 1982 at the 1st Canadian Conference on Building Science and Technology – almost thirty years of papers are shared here, showcasing a wealth of knowledge at just a mouse click.

The publication of these papers does not indicate responsibility for, nor acceptance of, the technical accuracy or content suitable by NBEC, the organising BEC, the session chairs or sponsoring organisations. Also, these proceedings do not represent the opinions or beliefs of the organising committee members, scientific committee members, nor the companies or organisations employing these members. Each paper solely represents the research ideas, perspectives, and beliefs of the author(s). Publication in these proceedings ensures that all members of our building science and building technology community are able to review and discuss the issues presented in an open forum, in keeping with the original objectives of the conferences and NBEC.

Some of the proceedings from the previous conferences can be found at www.nbec.net and the most recent Conference here.

New National Housing Strategy being released today. Long time coming. Cities can do a lot, but we can’t do it all! Looking forward to new, stronger partnership with Feds! #vanpoli #NationalHousingDay
